The goals of The Antique Dealers Association of St Augustine ( ADASTA ):

Mission Statement

ADASTA is an association democratically managed and dedicated to promote honest and professional business ethics within its membership, and to assist its members in furthering there individual commercial enterprise.

Our Goals

We aim to promote our members individual businesses utilizing the advantages of group services, through the wide distribution of our informative brochure, our new World Wide Web page, and our affiliation to local and national organizations. We encourage each member to advertise and recommend fellow members business locations. We promote ADASTA members businesses with our standard advertisement through the local media and nationally as funds are allocated. As a fund raiser we aim to promote and supervise, within St Augustine, an annual antiques fair and auction.

Becoming a member of ADASTA entitles you, and encourages you, to attend monthly meetings, display our distinctive logo within your premises and on your business stationary, receive and contribute to our monthly newsletter, have your business displayed within our brochure, w.w.web page and any advertising the association promotes. ADASTA is an associated member of the St Augustine Chamber of Commerce, Visitors Convention Bureau and The Antiques & Collectibles Dealer Association ACDA.

We are convinced being a member of ADASTA is going to greatly benefit our personal businesses and offer to an ever decreasing customer base a higher degree of quality merchandise backed by a professional code of ethics. As a group working together we will be more able to attract a superior clientele, offer our merchandise and services at competitive rates and have the knowledge and support of our contemporaries.

To complement our full membership we have created an Associate Membership category.

We appreciate that not all dealers and related businesses require the full membership, in an attempt to attract a wider contact with like businesses within the surrounding area, we have introduced our associate category.

Our associate member or business will be displayed within our brochure and web page, would be invited to attend and contribute to our monthly meetings, without the benefit of a vote. Associate members would receive our monthly news letter be invited to take part in any group advertising at greatly reduced rates, and reap the benefits of networking within our industry.
